Tell us more about what you do at Indellient:
“Officially my title is Talent Acquisition Specialist but I am more of a technical recruiter because the kind of roles that I help hire are mostly technical in nature. So, think of any role from a Software Developer to a Data Scientist, I will work on. I sit down with the hiring manager and go through an intake meeting with them. Understand the requirements for the role, create the job description, work with the teams to come to a compensation range, and then post the role on our website and other channels. I go through applicants for the role, reach out to passive candidates, and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Once we identify a good candidate, working with the hiring manager I present the offer to them and once they accept and start with the company, I help them onboard and become a part of the team!”
What is your favourite part about working at Indellient:
“The people! Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and willing to share the knowledge they have with you. I also love the flexibility in terms of work hours as well as the ability to be fully remote if I want to.”
What advice would you give to someone applying at Indellient?:
“If you like learning new technologies, working with a wide variety of projects and clients, you have come to the right place. Be prepared to work collaboratively with a lot of different people and teams, and know that if you are ever stuck on something, you have a whole team to help you and back you up.”
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself:
“I do some stand-up comedy and love driving anything with an engine from cars, to boats, to motorcycles to planes!”
